Levinson and Stefani is pleased to welcome Tiffannie Kennedy to the firm as its newest associate attorney. Kennedy joins the firm with nearly 10 years of legal experience focusing on litigation and trial work. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas.
“As the firm grows, we continue to look for people with a range of legal expertise and those who know the importance of working one-on-one with individuals,” said Founding Partner Ken Levinson. “Tiffannie is an exceptional attorney with a proven record of success, but also someone who knows the attorney-client relationship is among the most important there is for personal injury victims. We’re looking forward to many successful years together as a team.”
Between 2013–2017, Kennedy owned and operated her namesake firm in Kansas City, Missouri, assisting clients with matters ranging from personal injury to trust and probate litigation. In her second year of practice, Kennedy was honored with the Rising Star award presented by Missouri Lawyer’s Weekly after achieving over $500,000 in results for her clients. Only a handful of attorneys are selected each year to receive this award.
During law school, Kennedy was selected as one of nine students to compete on the University of Missouri–Kansas City’s nationally ranked Trial Advocacy Mock Trial team. She was awarded the Cali Award for Excellence for achieving the highest grade in Legal Writing, inducted into the National Member of the Order of the Barristers, and awarded the 2012 Terry L. Thomas Trial Practice Award. Perhaps most impressively, during her third year of law school, she was selected as one of three law students to receive the Leader of Tomorrow Award by Missouri Lawyers Weekly as part of the 14th Annual Women’s Justice Awards.
Kennedy received her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Human Relations Theory from Park University in Parkville, Missouri. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
